Slingshot Custom Light Show Rules & Terms

Competition Rules

  1. Eligibility: Open to all registered participants of the 2024 SlingShot Expo & Competition. All Slingshots must be present at Overtyme Bar & Grill on October 18th to compete.

  2. Lighting Requirements: All light setups must be securely installed and operational prior to the start of the competition. Entries will be judged based on creativity, brightness, color coordination, and overall impact.

  3. Safety First: All lighting systems must comply with safety standards. No open flames or hazardous setups will be allowed.

  4. Judging Criteria: Judging will be based on a point system that considers the following:

    • Creativity and Innovation

    • Brightness and Visual Impact

    • Use of Color and Coordination

    • Overall Presentation

  5. Judges’ Decision: All decisions made by the judges are final. No disputes or appeals will be entertained.

  6. Timing: Participants must arrive and be fully set up by 7:00 PM. The competition will begin promptly at 8:00 PM.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Entry Fee: There is no additional entry fee for the Light Show; it is included with your event registration.

  2. Liability: Participants are responsible for the safety and security of their vehicles and lighting setups. The organizers, venue, and judges are not liable for any damage or injury that may occur.

  3. Conduct: All participants are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner. Any form of misconduct, including tampering with other participants' vehicles, will result in disqualification.

  4. Prizes: The winners will receive a Championship Ring and be recognized during the event's awards ceremony. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  5. Photography & Media: By participating, you agree to allow event organizers to photograph and video your vehicle and use the content for promotional purposes.

  6. Cancellation: The organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified as soon as possible.

  7. Agreement: By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by all rules and terms outlined above.
