Event Policy

Event Policy for the 2024

SlingShot Expo & Competition

General Admission

  1. Event Date & Location: The 2024 SlingShot Expo & Competition will take place on October 18-19 at Henderson Stadium in Macon, GA.

  2. Tickets: All attendees on Saturday must have a valid ticket for entry. Early Bird tickets are available at a discounted rate. Children 13 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

  3. Entry Times: Gates open at 10:00 AM to close each day. Re-entry is permitted with a valid wristband or Proof of E-Ticket.

  4. Children: A Kids Zone will be available, featuring game trucks and bounce houses. Children must be supervised at all times.

Prohibited Items

  1. Weapons: No weapons of any kind are allowed on the premises.

  2. Alcohol & Drugs: Outside alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

  3. Coolers: No outside coolers are allowed.

  4. Pets: Pets are not permitted, except for service animals.

Conduct

  1. Behavior: All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner. Disorderly conduct, including harassment, fighting, or inappropriate language, will result in immediate removal from the event without a refund.

  2. Compliance: Attendees must comply with all instructions from event staff and security personnel.

Health & Safety

  1. First Aid: First aid stations will be available on-site. In case of an emergency, contact the nearest event staff member.

  2. Sanitation: Hand sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the venue. Attendees are encouraged to maintain hygiene practices.

Refund Policy

  1. No Refunds: All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued.

  2. Event Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by the organizers, tickets will be refunded or will be given an opportunity for entry in other partnered events.

Photography & Videography

  1. Consent: By attending the event, attendees consent to being photographed and filmed. Footage and images may be used for promotional purposes.

Liability

  1. Assumption of Risk: Attendees assume all risks associated with attending the event. The organizers, nor Venue are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage sustained at the event.

Vendor and Sponsorship Terms

  1. Compliance: All vendors and sponsors must adhere to the terms outlined in their agreements. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without a refund.

  2. Insurance: Vendors and sponsors must provide proof of liability insurance.

Vendor

Vendor Terms

 General Terms

  1. Event Date & Location: The 2024 SlingShot Expo & Competition will be held on October 18-19 at Henderson Stadium in Macon, GA.

  2. Setup & Breakdown: All vendors must be set up by 9:00 AM on event days and may not begin breakdown before 6:00 PM. Early setup is available on October 17th from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

  3. Permits & Licenses: Vendors must possess all necessary permits and licenses required by local, state, and federal laws. Proof of permits and licenses must be provided upon request.

  4. Insurance: All vendors must carry liability insurance and provide proof of coverage prior to the event.

  5. Health & Safety: Food vendors must comply with all health and safety regulations. Food trucks and tents must pass a health inspection on the day of the event.

  6. Space Allocation: Vendors will be assigned a 10x10 space. Food trucks and tents must fit within this space unless additional space is purchased.

  7. Electricity & Water: Limited access to electricity and water is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors must indicate their need for these services in advance.

  8. Cleanup: Vendors are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their area and must remove all trash and debris at the end of each day.

  9. Sales & Pricing: Vendors set their own prices and are responsible for all sales transactions, including taxes. The event organizers do not take a commission on sales.

  10. Conduct: All vendors must conduct themselves professionally and courteously. Any vendor deemed to be acting inappropriately may be asked to leave the event without a refund.

Fees

  • Non-Food Vendors: $75 (Early Bird)

  • Food Trucks: $200 (Early Bird)

  • Food Tents: $100 (Early Bird)

Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by Vendor: No refunds will be issued for cancellations by vendors.

  • Cancellation by Organizers: If the event is canceled by the organizers, vendors will receive a full refund.

Agreement

By submitting an application and payment, vendors agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined above. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the forfeiture of space and fees.
